New Balance Designs Mask To Keep Athletes Safe During Workouts

New Balance has released a face mask designed to ensure athletes stay safe while training during the pandemic.
Dubbed the Active Face Mask, the reusable face covering has three layers of breathable fabrics—polyester, polypropylene, and spandex. The face mask is made of moisture-wicking fabric that allows you to work out while keeping your face dry and comfortable.
It features the reflective New Balance logo and has straps that go behind the wearer’s head. The mask also has a moldable nose clip and is designed to keep the fabric away from the mouth, giving you ample room to breathe in.
The Active Face Mask has been authorized by the FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization. The general public and healthcare professionals are able to don it to prevent the spread of infection or illness amid the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it is good to note that the mask has not been FDA-cleared or approved.
The New Balance Active Face Mask is available to purchase via Newbalance.com for US$25. The mask comes in sizes XS/S, S/M, M/L and L/XL, and arrives with a wearable carrying case.
