Hasbro’s $700 Optimus Prime Figure Self-Transforms From Truck To Robot

Hasbro has unveiled its first-ever auto-converting Optimus Prime, and it will excite the kid in you.

The toy is capable of transforming from truck to robot with a simple voice command or the press of a button, thanks to its 5,000 components, 27 patented servo motors and 60 connect microchips. It also has 80 sound effects.

The Optimus Prime toy, however, will not come cheap. It’s set to cost you US$699.99, so you may want to start saving now. You can pre-order the latest Optimus Prime; orders will ship on August 2.
