Fitbit’s Luxe Smart Jewelry Could Be Its Most Stylish Fitness Tracker Yet

Fitbit has just launched Fitbit Luxe, its all-new fitness tracker inspired by jewelry. It combines some of its top features from previous Fitbits into a new sleek, fashion-forward design that resembles classic timepieces.
Inspired by the human body, the Fitbit Luxe was designed to work with a diverse range of wrist sizes, skin tones, and lifestyles for 24/7 wear. You’ll never have to take it off.
The Fitbit Luxe will sell for US$149.99, and comes with six months of Fitbit Premium. It boasts up to five days of battery life, so you won’t have to charge it daily. As per Fit & Well, the Fitbit Luxe was designed for “those who want a stylish tracker which is versatile to wear for all occasions.”
While fitness trackers tend to be on the bulkier side, this is the thinnest tracker in Fitbit’s range to date, and is said to be comfortable even when worn to bed. It’s also the first Fitbit tracker to offer an easy-to-view color touchscreen (AMOLED), that brings your stats to life with a range of colorful clock face designs.
This edition of the tracker focuses more on holistic wellness, with Fitbit Sense’s Stress Management feature scaled down to the tracker for the first time. Guided meditations are also available on the Fitbit app, including those from meditation guru Deepak Chopra for Premium users.
Plus, if you’re sensitive to alarms in the morning, you’ll appreciate the Smart Wake technology that gently rouses you via sensations on your wrist. The tracker also measures breathing rate, heart rate, and even skin temperature in a future update.
As for the sports-inclined, Fitbit Luxe tracks 20 different kinds of activities, ranging from golf to yoga and running. Swimmers can opt for premium bracelet band options from Fitbit’s collaboration with jewelry brand Gorjana, with waterproof options for underwater use.
