Elon Musk was greeted with a bizarre giant billboard outside of SpaceX headquarters in Hawthorne, California.

The poster, unfortunately, wasn’t praising Musk or anything. Put up ahead of Earth Day, it simply read, “Mars Sucks.”

Musk has been quite vocal in developing a Starship for interplanetary exploration to reach Mars. He hopes to land on the Red Planet by the end of the decade. Furthermore, he wants to have a self-sustaining colony on Mars by 2050.

The “Mars Sucks” advertisement is the work by Los Angeles creative agency Activista. “What doesn’t suck? Earth. But the way we treat it frankly, sucks,” the agency explained on Twitter.

“And then, you dream of Mars. A hellhole. A barren, desolate, wasteland you can’t set foot on fast enough. Great, we got to Mars. Now let’s prioritize Earth,” it added.

The 51th annual Earth day will take place on April 22.
