Fujifilm & Nintendo Debut Printer That Captures In-Game Images As Instant Photos

Fujifilm and Nintendo have teamed up to create a new smartphone printer. The duo has also developed an app that allows you to take snapshots in Nintendo games and print them out physically.
The palm-sized gadget, which is called the Instax Mini Link for Nintendo Switch Smartphone Printer, lets you have physical shots of images taken in games, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Super Mario Odyssey. You can then print them out on photo paper.
Additionally, you can add Nintendo characters, filters, and frames to your photos through the smartphone app. Users will also be able to transfer screenshots from the Switch to the Instax Mini Link app by scanning a QR code.
The mini printer is finished in an ash white base. It boasts a red trim at the output section and blue trim on the power button. Users can choose to purchase it as a standalone product, or in a limited-edition bundle that comes with a Pikachu silicone case.
According to Fujifilm, the Instax Mini Link will be available to purchase on April 30. Those interested in the Pikachu bundle, however, will have to wait a little longer as it will only be released several weeks later.
The Mini Link will set you back for US$100. The Pikachu bundle option will be slightly pricier, retailing for US$120. You can download the app for free.
