‘Foot Cast’ Dress Shoes Mold To Your Feet When In Water For The Perfect Fit

Japanese footwear brand Hender Scheme has debuted new dress shoes that, as opposed to the countless pairs out there, begin molding to your feet upon being submerged in water, so you get a perfect fit.
The ‘Foot Cast’ shoe’s sole is made from a special type of stacked leather, which prevents water from disrupting its shape in the soaking process. The pair comes in both derby and slip-on versions and in three choices of leather, with unfinished and untanned horse leather available in smooth or suede, and goat leather in black.
Once you’ve dunked your feet into the water, just let the shoes dry so they’ll shrink to your exact size. When that’s done, put your feet back in to mold the opening just how you like it. There, a perfect fit just for your feet.
According to Input, as of now, the Foot Cast is only available on Hender Scheme’s site and boutiques in Japan. However, it shouldn’t be too long before it hits US shores. The shoes start at US$305, a fair price for premium leather with a custom fit.
