Kanye West’s Goyard ‘Robot Face’ Backpack Designed By Him Sells For $55K

Last month, Kanye West’s prototype YEEZYs sold for a record-breaking US$1.8 million at an auction. Now, the rapper’s one-of-a-kind Goyard backpack, which he purchased during the 2010 Paris Fashion Week, has just been sold for US$55,000.
The limited-edition piece had been put up for sale on high-fashion reseller Justin Reed’s site, whose recent collection also featured items from Toronto rapper Drake’s collaboration with Chrome Hearts. The backpack’s condition was described as “excellent overall,” apart from a few “minor marks” on its interior, as per Complex.
West had acquired the 1 of 1 ‘Robot Face’ Goyard Backpack, which he designed, while in Paris with his then-girlfriend, Amber Rose. “The 1 of 1 Goyard backpack is just one of the many limited edition pieces that West has accumulated in his closet,” said the description.
It seems West’s pre-owned items are having a boom in the resale market, and you can expect to see more going for brow-raising prices in the near future.
