Watch A LEGO Builder Put Together A 9,036-Piece Set In Guinness Record Time

As the adage goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day—but in the world of LEGO, accomplishing that within half the time could be possible. That is if your assembly skills are as deft as those of speed builder Paul Ufema.
The LEGO fan recently claimed the title of “fastest to build the LEGO Colosseum” by the Guinness World Records, completing the intricate set at a swift 13 hours, 37 minutes, and 36 seconds. He has shared the construction process on his LEGO-dedicated YouTube channel, All New Bricks.
With 9,036 pieces, the LEGO 10276 Colosseum is the toymaker’s largest and most ambitious brick kit yet, topping the 7,541-piece Star Wars Millennium Falcon set.
Aside from being a complex activity, the Colosseum replica is meticulously built to architectural perfection. The set comes with three brick shades for a time-worn look, along with three levels and 80 “ribs.”
