Kate Middleton Has Been Hiding Copies Of Her Photography Book Around London

Last week, Kate Middleton stepped out for a rare appearance in London to celebrate the release of her new book, Hold Still: A Portrait of Our Nation in 2020.
Hold Still features 100 portraits reflecting the community’s unique experiences during the COVID-19 lockdown in the UK. Over 31,000 submissions were received from across the country, with participants from four to 75 years old.
Ranging from virtual birthday parties to resilient key workers, the photographs convey the entire spectrum of individual and shared emotions experienced during the pandemic.
Profits from the sale of the book will be split between mental health charity Mind, and the National Portrait Gallery. The National Portrait Gallery also announced that the portraits will become part of its permanent collection.
The Duchess of Cambridge shared a video of her supporting The Book Fairies, a UK organization that champions the sharing of books, leaving them out ion the open for others to discover. She took part in the initiative by hiding 150 copies of Hold Still in secret locations around the country.
“Each copy is adorned with a gold book fairy sticker, gold ribbon, and has a letter from The Duchess tucked inside,” the Instagram post explained.
