The Polaroid OneStep Close-Up 600 camera is sporting a spiffy new Fendi coat. The instant camera brand has tied up with the luxury fashion house to create a
special-edition clamshell camera decked out in a colorful FF monogram.
New York-based visual artist Sarah Coleman designed the print laid out all over the vintage camera as part of Fendi’s Summer Capsule 2021. The pattern draws upon the desire to make beautiful moments unforgettable while paying homage to Fendi’s branding.
A fun detail is the distorted perceptions of Fendi’s FF Vertigo monogram and wordmark, warped multi-ways to resemble views through a fisheye lens.
The original Polaroid OneStep Close-Up 600 was launched in the 1990s, and is deemed by photographers as one of their favorite instant cameras, according to
Digital Camera World. The model is built with a sliding close-up lens allowing a focus range of two to four feet, hence its name.
The whimsical Fendi Vintage Camera can be purchased via Fendi boutiques around the world and
online at US$950.
