Uber Shares The Weirdest Items In Lost & Found In 2020… Misplaced Your Tooth?

As the world slowly returns to a life of normalcy, more people have stepped out of their homes again. In fact, this March, Uber apparently saw record demand for its services.
The ride-sharing giant has also released its Lost & Found Index for the past year, and there are some strange things passengers have been leaving in their Ubers.
The annual list documents the most commonly forgotten items, with last year’s being no different from those of past years. Phones were the number one item left behind in Ubers, followed by cameras, wallets, keys, and luggage.
Uber’s list also has a section for the top 10 most forgetful cities in the US. In first place is Austin, Texas, with Fort Myers, Florida coming in second. Next, it’s Nashville Tennessee, followed by San Antonio, Texas, and Tampa Bay, Florida.
On to the best – and most interesting – part of the list: the most unique lost items of the past year.
Standouts include some incredibly weird objects such as a tooth, an FBI bullet-proof vest, a large painting of Kate Middleton, a Harry Potter wand, raw chicken, and get this … a cooler full of fish.
Other notable trends include more than 60 riders leaving behind their gold grills, retainers, or dentures, and customers tended to leave behind Apple products nearly nine times more frequently than Samsung ones. Plus, Gucci bags were forgotten five times more often than Chanel or Saint Laurent. Huh.
With everyone getting vaccinated and emerging for the summer, it’s a wonder what strange items will turn up at the back of Ubers this year.
