Wacoal’s New AI App Reveals Your Perfect Bra Size, No Measuring Tape Required

Keeping abreast of times when even lipstick testers are forbidden, Wacoal is bringing its personalized, one-on-one bra-fitting sessions to the virtual scene.
The underwear brand has launched a clever ‘mybraFit’ app that accurately determines your bra size to a T—or 32A to I. The best part is you won’t even need measuring tape or knowledge of your current sizing, as mybraFit can grab measurements by scanning your body in a similar way to Apple’s Face ID, according to PureWow. It’s important to note that images uploaded won’t be saved in the system to protect your privacy.
Rather than just giving a gauge of your bra size, the assessment takes into account a user’s body type, breast shape, tissue type, shoulder slope, and preferred fit, ensuring measurements just as precise as Wacoal’s in-person fittings.
In just minutes, users will discover their perfect cup size and band number, coupled with bra recommendations from Wacoal.
The app is now available for iOS and Android users. It’s time to finally nip uncomfortable bras in the bud.
