IKEA’s Short Quiz Creates A Mood Board For Your Room Based On Your Dream Travels

For years, IKEA has been making a case about turning your home into a personal sanctuary, but it also acknowledges that wanderlust is a real thing with the coronavirus still in the air. Its latest guide for inspiration thus draws upon the idea of a dream vacation with the hope of bringing it closer to your living space.
Who better to offer inspiration with than Pinterest, the home for digital vision boards? The two have paired up to launch ‘IKEA Renocations’, a quick quiz that generates a Pinterest board to help redecorate your abode according to your travel whims.
You’ll start with a chat with Yuri Tinerary, an AI IKEA employee, who will ask you three questions about where you’d rather be and which part of your home best matches its vibes.
The cool thing is that you’ll receive your personal mood board in a matter of seconds. After you have answered the questions, you’ll be generated a new Pinterest board with images of IKEA products and room setups that embody your travel wishlist without you having to step out of the door.
