There’s A Company Making ‘Artisanal’ Jeans That Look Like You Wet Yourself

Trends fluctuate like high- and low-rise jeans. While skinny jeans remained a staple for years, Gen Z walked in and decided they were out. But no one could have seen these pee-inspired denim garments coming.
Like its name suggests, Wet Pants Denim is an retailer specializing in jeans that look like you peed yourself. These aren’t unintentional “design fails;” they actually deliberately replicate “authentic urinary incontinence.”
The company offers new “artisanal crotch staining” jeans at US$75 a pair, but you could also send in an old pair for customization at US$30. Sure, you could tinker (or should we say, tinkle?) your own denim in what could be the simplest DIY project yet, but it could never achieve what Wet Pants Denim calls its signature “Wet Look, Dry Feel.”
The company says each pair of jeans is prepared by hand, “ensuring the utmost attention to detail and enabling a fully custom design of the splash pattern”—hopefully not with actual urine.
