Kamala Harris Wears Support For Love As The First Sitting VP At Pride Parade

While US Vice President Kamala Harris usually suits up for official events, she took to the streets of Washington DC with a more casual look to celebrate Pride Month.
This marked a historic appearance, as it was the first time a sitting Vice President marched at a Pride Parade.
Together with her husband, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, Harris opted for a vibrant look with a bright coral blazer. Paired with black jeans and Converse sneakers, she donned an adorable graphic T-shirt with messages of support to the LGBTQ+ community.
Harris’ T-shirt read “Love Is Love” while Emhoff’s had the message “Love First” in the signature Pride rainbow colors. Interestingly, as noted by POPSUGAR, even their Secret Services agents were dressed down for the event.
