Heineken Creates Robot Drinking Buddy That Follows You Around With Chilled Beer

Heading to the beach, or out for a picnic this summer? We’ve all had the struggle of lugging an incredibly heavy cooler full of ice and beer cans. To solve this problem, Heineken has launched ‘BOT’, an autonomous cooler that will follow you everywhere you go. No dragging involved.
The Heineken Beer Outdoor Transporter (BOT) operates just like the droids you see in the movies, following you around so that you’re never too far away from an ice-cold can of beer.
According to SlashGear, the robot features four small wheels, two larger wheels, multiple sensors, an AI ‘brain’, and the capacity to hold a dozen cans of beer and ice.
Unfortunately, the Heineken BOT isn’t something that can be purchased off the shelves. From July 1, Heineken will be accepting submissions from customers who want a chance at owning the BOT. You can sign up at the dedicated site for a chance to make the autonomous beer bot your new drinking buddy.
