Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Designs Team USA’s Official Olympic Undergarments

For as long as one can remember, every four years when the Olympics rolls around, Ralph Lauren partners Team USA to design its uniforms for the opening and closing ceremonies.
This year, at the belated Summer Olympics in Japan, Team USA has a new partner for undergarments and loungewear: Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS.
SKIMS will be designing Team USA’s official undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear for this year’s competition in Tokyo, as per CBS News. The pieces will also be available for supporters to purchase online, so fans can match the outfits of their favorite athletes.
“Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied,” wrote Kardashian on Instagram, whose stepfather is former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner.
“When I received the call inviting SKIMS to be a part of Team USA, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle,” she said.
Along with her heartfelt post, Kardashian posted images of Team USA athletes modeling the pieces, which include sports bras, underwear, T-shirts, leggings, shorts, tank tops, and socks.
