It’s official: Pokémon trainers are all grown up, and many of them now have kids who could carry on the tradition.
In 2019, Nintendo launched
Monpoke, a fashion and lifestyle brand dedicated to babies and kids. To celebrate its second anniversary, it is rolling out jackets, ponchos, hats, plush toys, and more inspired by Pikachu—ever a favorite—and the brand’s first Eevee-themed items.
A standout item is the pair of adorable collaborative ASICS shoes designed to look like the electric Pokémon. Along with Pikachu’s face on the front and a tail at the heel, the footwear is also crafted in comfortable soft suede, along with a special rolled-up design in the toe box to support a child’s unsteady gait.
According to Japanese fashion news site
Fashion Press, the pieces of this Fall/Winter collection will roll out in gradual launches beginning this month.
