Winston Churchill’s War Office Transforms Into Luxury Apartments In London

Residents in the UK now have the exclusive opportunity to purchase a piece of Winston Churchill’s Old War Office building, following the launch of The OWO Residences by Raffles.
After being closed to the public for over a century, the Old War Office has been transformed into 85 luxury homes, along with a 125-room Raffles hotel, in London.
Churchill’s Old War Office, originally built in 1906 and designed by William Young, has amassed a place in UK history. It was formerly the site of the original Palace of Whitehall, home to Henry VII and other royalty, before becoming where Winston Churchill and David Lloyd George held office in the 20th century.
The address had also inspired Ian Fleming to pen the world-famous James Bond series, and has made an appearance in major productions such as The Crown.
The classic Edwardian architecture of the building has been adapted for modern living. The residences’ interiors were created by design studio 1508 London, featuring bespoke kitchens, heritage features such as oak paneling and mosaic flooring, and incredible craftsmanship throughout the entire building.
