LEGO Introduces Marvel ‘Bro Thor’ Set, Complete With Dad Bod & Bachelor Pad

Thor’s sculpted bod got so hot, it melted into ice cream soup in Avengers: Endgame. LEGO is memorializing the iconic scene with a brand-new set that comes pretty out of the blue, seeing as how the film premiered more than two years ago.
At the start of Endgame, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is depicted to have fallen into a depression, as some of the Avengers and his brother Loki were obliterated during the war with Thanos. He retreats to video games and a diet of pizza, which might not seem so terrible for anyone you know, but would serve as a drastic metaphor for a superhero.
This version of Thor, christened ‘Bro Thor’ by Marvel Studios, is now part of LEGO’s new 265-piece ‘Bro Thor’s New Asgard’ set. The shirtless Asgardian who let himself go makes an appearance in shirtless form, alongside gaming buddies Korg and a buildable Miek, in his mini bachelor pad.
To recreate Thor’s exaggerated dad bod, LEGO extended his belly over his pants. Fans can pile on his woes by surrounding the scene with a picture frame of him and Loki, a video game setup, pizza slices, and a comfy couch. However, the old Thor isn’t gone, as there’s the Stormbreaker ax too.
While the set might be quite unexpected, it is a fitting image of life in lockdown. The kit is available for preorders on the LEGO website at US$29.99, and will make its official debut on August 1.
