2,400 Artists Team Up To Produce Feature-Length CGI Animation; Here’s The Result

If you’ve been feeling stunted lately, this fascinating supercut exhibiting the spectrum of creativity will remind you that there’s always something new you can bring to the table.
About a month ago, VFX artist Clinton Jones tasked his online community to work on a simple, single render of a figure walking, thus creating “alternative realities” of that one prompt. 3D artists were welcome to revitalize this skeleton any way they wished, Fstoppers notes.
Coupled with attractive prizes from sponsors like a Wacom device and a performance capture suit, the challenge raked in over 2,400 entries, accounting for about 18 hours of work. Strung together, the clips—save for a few submissions that were disqualified due to file corruptions and other issues—were enough to create a stunning, nearly three-hour-long feature-length film.
