Streaming platforms are the video rental stores of today, and the speedily evolving industry means companies would need to step up and show customers what they have to offer. In a similar vein to Netflix’s free series and films, HBO Max has released episodes of some of its most beloved programs for free in hopes to gain new subscribers.

Visitors of the new ‘Watch Free’ section won’t require an account to view the episodes. Don’t count on binging entire series, though. The sampler only includes the first episodes, and if viewers wish to go beyond those, they’d need to subscribe. HBO Max is priced at US$9.99 per month with advertisements, and US$14.99 for the full, disruption-free experience.



Thus far, the category comprises 13 previews that not only cover HBO Max originals like Titans and The Flight Attendant, but also Batwoman; Doom Patrol; Euphoria; Game of Thrones; Harley Quinn; Lovecraft Country; Love Life; Perry Mason; Raised By Wolves; Veneno; and Warrior. The network will refresh the lineup of episodes now and then.

Those who already have the HBO Max app can also access this selection without registering an account. They’ll be shown the entire HBO Max repository, with labels indicating which episodes are free.
