Louis Vuitton Debuts $2K ‘Pizza Box’… Thank Goodness Delivery Is Free?

The US$2,000 pizza has met its match: a US$2,090 ‘Pizza Box Case’ from Louis Vuitton.
Only thing, it’s not for carrying pizza, in spite of its name. Shaped like the icon of American culture, the 14-inch Pizza Box Case is designed to transport vinyl records, music discs, and other accessories.
A dead giveaway that this isn’t for regular pizza rats is Louis Vuitton’s unmistakable monogram across the box’s cowhide leather canvas exterior, along with gold corners. In addition, instead of pizza chain branding, the case is displayed with the text “LV SOUND DESIGN AND RECORD CLUB.”
Keeping your belongings more secure than typical pizza packaging can are the case’s leather closure. Place it aside your new UFO-shaped Louis Vuitton speaker to recreate the dorm room of a college kid who still uses Daddy’s credit card.
Perhaps your cue to complete the transaction is the fact that the product arrives with complimentary standard shipping. Then again, the website states that the case is currently “out of stock,” so you might want to keep those extra bucks for the next 200 pies.
