Paris Shows Off Spectacular Olympics 2024 Venues With A First Look At The Games

Even though the Tokyo Olympics 2020 has just ended, the world is already looking forward to the next edition of the Summer Games. Planned for July 26, 2024, the world’s most famous athletic competition will commence once again in Paris, France.
The Games will take place in some of the city’s most famed locations, adding to the grandeur of the competition. To give viewers a little insight into what the next Games will be like, the Paris Organizing Committee has unveiled several concept pictures – and they’re stunning.
Stade de France

The opening ceremony is one of the highlights of the entire Olympics, allowing the host nation to showcase its best and brightest. Along with the closing ceremony, athletics, and rugby events, the opening day’s festivities will take place at the Stade de France. With a capacity of over 75,000 fans, it’s definitely the place to be for fans of the Olympics.
Champ de Mars

Volleyball players will have the treat of playing right at the foot of Paris’ most iconic landmark: the Eiffel Tower. Shown here at night, the image certainly portrays the romance of the city as both athletes and supporters will get one of the best views of the Games.
Roland Garros

No surprises here, the tennis matches will be held at the iconic Roland Garros clay courts, which is also where the French Open is held. Interestingly, aside from tennis, the court will also play host to Olympic boxers for their bouts.
Place de la Concorde & Bercy Arena

The Place de la Concorde will host newly-added sports of skateboarding, breakdancing, BMX freestyle, and 3 x 3 basketball. Whereas, main basketball tournaments and gymnastics events will take place in the Bercy Arena.
