PUMA Introduces ‘Animal Crossing’ Line For Your Island-Hopping Adventures

To ensure you can run around your island with ease, PUMA has teamed up with Nintendo to launch apparel and footwear inspired by the hit quarantine game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The collaboration brings three twists to PUMA’s silhouettes—namely the Suede, Wild Rider, and Future Rider—along with short and long sleeve tops, hoodies, shorts, and sweatpants. Across the board, the pieces are decked in the game’s natural color scheme of mint green, beige, blue, and white. They’re much subtler than past Animal Crossing collections, and would be perfect for casual players who only check in occasionally, one year into the simulation game’s launch.

An accompanying canvas “bell bag” containing additional shoelaces allows players to “custom design” their footwear.

Enhancing the tropical experience are co-branded “adventure-ready outfits” spotlighting the raccoons, Isabelle, K.K. Slider, and some villagers. It strikes as odd that the Able Sisters from the fashionable tailor shop don’t feature here, but then again, a brand wouldn’t want to promote its competition.
