Land Rover Introduces James Bond Defender Featured In ‘No Time To Die’

Ever imagined what it’d be like to be James Bond? While we can’t promise high-stakes missions or escapades, Land Rover is now giving fans a chance to own their very own 007-inspired Defender.
The limited-edition SUV is based on the cars that will appear in the franchise’s latest film, No Time To Die. And to make it even more exclusive, only 300 units of the car will be produced by the automaker’s SVO Bespoke department.
Lending to its Bond-esque appeal is the Defender’s all-black exterior, with the car also featuring a luxurious four-door 110 body style, so you can travel in comfort. It will include a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, with an 8-speed automatic transmission that can provide up to 518 hp and 461 ft lbs of torque.
According to Robb Report, just like the vehicles in the upcoming film, the Bond Edition Defender comes with an extended black pack, which consists of 22-inch Luna Gloss Black alloy wheels. These are paired with Xenon Blue front brake clippers for an extra edge.
Unfortunately, unlike in the movies, the car doesn’t come with any of Bond’s futuristic spy gadgets. But everyone will still know it’s a car made for the super spy, with it sporting a ‘Defender 007’ rear badge, illuminated tread plates, and puddle lamps. The interior’s touchscreen system also has its very own special Bond animation.
“The Land Rover Defend V8 Bond Edition is an exclusive take on the most powerful production Defender ever made, inspired by vehicles on screen in No Time To Die,” said Land Rover’s Brand Director Finbar McFall.
The film is also set to include other coveted vehicles, such as a Range Rover Classic, Land Rover Series III, two Range Rover Sport SVRs, and several rare Aston Martins.
If you’re thinking of getting your hands on the special Bond Defender, the car will set you back a cool US$114,600. Well, looking that dapper doesn’t come cheap. Take a look at the limited-edition car below.
