SpaceX’s All-Civilian Crew Slipped A Secret Message In Photo, & People Caught On

This week, SpaceX’s first all-civilian spaceflight, named Inspiration-4, will set off on a three-day trip around the Earth. The crew, consisting of Jared Isaacman, Sian Proctor, Hayley Arceneaux, and Christopher Sembroski, will ride on board the firm’s Resilience spacecraft.
Before jetting off to space, the crew posted a picture on social media with a hidden message that captured the essence of their upcoming voyage. While it looked like a regular group picture at first glance, users on Reddit’s SpaceX Lounge forum found an Easter egg hidden in the background, as per VICE.
Delivered in Morse code, the writing on the black background reads “ad astra,” a Latin phrase meaning “to the stars.” Confirming the message, Proctor later tweeted the same picture, along with the exact words.
Inspiration-4 is scheduled to launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, within 24 hours beginning 8pm (eastern time) on September 15.
