Apple Seems To Have Leaked Design Changes For 2021 MacBook Pros Within macOS

The latest leaks on Apple’s newest MacBook Pro lineup have, this time, come straight from the horse’s mouth: Apple itself.
In the upcoming M1X MacBook Pro 14 and 16, the screens are being swapped out in arguably the device’s biggest redesign.
Replacing the conventional screen as we know it today, the new miniLED screen is reported to offer more vibrant colors, including a deeper back, in its displays. While doing this, it’ll use up less energy than existing screens.
Consequently, the size of the bezel will also be reduced—another key highlight in the MacBook Pro redesign. This combination will see the lineup move from screens of 13 inches and 15 inches to 14 inches and 16 inches, hence the new names as well.
It has been reported by Forbes that the details of this new leak were found in the beta version of macOS Monterey, which is currently available to the public.
In its code are details of the new screens: “3456x2234 Retina” and “3024x1964 Retina.” These don’t match up to the current sizing of any of the Mac products, signaling that Apple is gearing up for the release of its new products along with their cutting-edge new screens.
Apple is believed to announce its latest in MacBooks sometime in October, which will see a November retail release. This comes after the products failed to make an appearance at the latest September event.
Although this hasn’t yet been confirmed, the fact that the new screens are already lurking in the shadows of the code is enough to indicate that they’re coming very soon.
