Apple Watch Series 7 With Seamless Always-On Display To Open For Preorders

Apple announced the newest Apple Watch Series 7 at its September event, and at long last, the small wearable device that packs quite a big punch will open for preorders this week.
Key highlights include a larger screen area for its shiny new Always-On Retina display and an almost seamless connection between the display and the watch’s borders and strap.
The Apple Watch Series 7 brings with it watchOS 8, said to help its users “stay healthy, active, and connected” with new workout types—pilates and taichi—and a new Mindfulness app.
There are also “indispensable” enhancements to health tracking features, including an electric heart sensor and ECG app alongside a Blood Oxygen sensor and app.
A redesigned Home app is offering users greater convenience and easier access to their accessories and Watch features. Tweaks are also being made to Wallet, Messages and Photos.

In addition, Apple has added a QWERTY keyboard to the system, and two new watch faces designed specifically for the new release; Contour and Modular Duo.

Moving on to the exterior: it’ll be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, presumably doing away with the smaller option to allow for the bigger display in all its glory.
It’s also said to be the “most durable Apple Watch ever” thanks to its “stronger, more crack-resistant front crystal.”

New finishes are unique to this model, too. Five new aluminum case finishes roll out the options of midnight, starlight, green, a new blue, and (PRODUCT)RED.

Meanwhile, the stainless steel options come in silver, graphite, and gold. And, last but not least, Apple Watch Edition sees a sleek titanium and space black titanium up for grabs.

Longstanding Watch partners Nike and Hermès are also bringing new bands and watch faces to the table.
