‘Scorpion’ Gaming Chair Is Zero-Gravity, Tucking You Into Its Reclining Shell

Scorpio season is just weeks away, and look what just crept into the line of sight of social media users: this creepy-crawly scorpion… esports chair and computer desk.
Designed by computer product company Cluvens, the formidable ‘Scorpion’ aims to be a friend rather than a foe. It’s adapted its movements from those of the arachnids to give you the lumbar support or comfort you need, spanning six poses and reclining up to 170 degrees.
On top of that, both desk and chair structures are electrically controlled, with the latter even wired with massage and heating functionality. Not so fatal after all, is it?
Its tail is pretty potent, though, being able to carry three 29-inch monitors at once, or a full 49” monitor. The setup is also biologically engineered with HDMI/DP cables to connect to your screens.

While the design debuted a year ago, it’s making a spooky appearance on Reddit in time for Halloween.
The only part that stings, it seems, is its price tag. The so-called “computer cockpit” starts at US$3899—but what would you expect from an exotic creature such as this?
