Google Play Store Will Start Telling You How Apps Collect & Share Your Data

In a recent announcement, Google said it will be adding a new data safety section to app descriptions in its Google Play Store, beginning next year.
The new information will allow users to find out what data each app collects and shares, and how an app protects its information. This will help them make a more informed choice when choosing to install new apps on their smartphones.
However, not every app will come with safety information. According to TechRadar, only apps which submissions have been approved by Google will see the new section feature alongside their listings.
If a developer’s submissions aren’t accepted or rejected, users will see a warning that reads “no information available.”
For those who like to be extra cautious with data privacy, it’s best to only download apps that have their safety information verified by Google.
Users can also look out for apps that use encryption, follow the company’s Families policy, or have been reviewed to employ good security practices by an independent company.
