Adobe Creative Cloud Teases ‘Canvas’ For Collaborators To Work On Files Remotely

Since the dawn of the pandemic, most of us have had to double up our homes as offices. Not to mention, all collaboration, especially for creatives, has shifted online—and working with other creators on a project isn’t as easy as it was before.
In response to the demand for more seamless workflow, Adobe is introducing Spaces and Canvas within Creative Cloud to help you and your coworkers work together more efficiently, minimizing the amount of time you’ll need to pause work just to wait for someone to send additional files over.
Now, with creatives all over the globe working together on the same projects from afar, Spaces allows working groups to share repositories where all materials are stored. No more having to hunt down the one person with that specific file!
Simply head into the shared space to access, organize, or populate file libraries so you can your co-creators can work on the same assets without a hitch.
With Canvas, users will also be able to fully display all components of a creative project. In real-time, you and your team will be able to visualize all the ideas together up on the browser, so discussions or video meetings can flow more freely.
It’s also a key development for brainstorming sessions or project meetings, allowing for visual cues on the screen so everyone’s on the same page.
As of now, Creative Cloud Spaces and Canvas will be introduced in private beta, with a wider release scheduled sometime next year. For more information, head here.
