LEGO Finally Gives Luigi The Spotlight He Deserves In New Interactive Sets

There is no denying it: Luigi is often overshadowed by his brother, Mario. But now, thanks to LEGO, it’s his—and only his—time to shine.
Expanding on the series based on Luigi’s Mansion, LEGO and Nintendo have chosen a very fitting Halloween date to have unveiled three new sets based on the spooky game.
The ‘Lab and Poltergust’, ‘Haunt-and-Seek’, and ‘Entryway’ sets come with fan-favorite characters like King Boo, Polterpup, Bogmire, Toad, and Boo, among others from the video game series.

Each comes with their own unique challenges, such as catching the Gold Ghost and collecting a coin reward in Lab and Poltergust, or attempting to maneuver the frightful mansion in Entryway, where players will need to draw upon the powers of creativity in order to defeat Bogmire.
Or perhaps a creepy twist on interior design in the form of Haunt-and-Seek will do the trick (not treat). In this set, players can create their own level to hunt gems and battle ghosts, complete with signature rotating hallways.

For the ultimate experience, all three sets can be combined to create a truly bone-chilling time. Even other LEGO Super Mario sets can be incorporated to take play to the next level—literally. So maybe Mario might be able to get a piece of the action, after all.
It’s worth noting, though, that Lab and Poltergust, Haunt-and-Seek, and Entryway are all being released as expansions, so ghost-hunters will need to snag the Starter Course first in order to get the LEGO Luigi interactive figure.
All three of the new sets will be available worldwide on LEGO.com from January 1, 2022. Pricing starts at US$29.95 for Lab and Poltergust, with Entryway at US$39.99 and Haunt-and-Seek at US$79.99.
