The Bathroom In ‘Friends’ Gets Redesigned In Today’s Hottest Decor Styles

The thing about sitcom apartments is that although most people have never actually been inside the space, their instantly recognizable designs have the ability to make its viewers feel instantly at home.
One such example is Monica’s apartment from the hit TV series Friends. Her living space has much to brag about, but as revealed in the iconic episode The One With Frank Jr., there’s one room that has been caught slipping: the bathroom.
As iconic as her apartment may be, there’s no denying that it perhaps wouldn’t sit so well in current times unless Monica was intentionally aiming for this particular aesthetic. So bathroom company QS Supplies has re-envisioned how the bathroom would’ve looked if it was designed today, harnessing the power of technology.
First, the team produced highly accurate digital renderings of the bathroom, creating both a top down and front view.

This was then followed by further renderings of the bathroom decked out in six gorgeous concepts, giving it a makeover a little more in tune with the style of the 21st century’s own version of the Roaring 20s.
“The bathroom answers the fundamental needs of your daily routine,” QS Supplies states. “Changing things up may be the best DIY move you can make in your home if you're in need of a little spiritual reboot. But matching the style and detail to your tastes is essential if you want to feel comfortable in the littlest room.”

Exposed brick, pipes, and beams are enhanced by brass and chrome. Simple, “business-like shapes” create a feel that's minimal, but without feeling sparse.

Symmetry, consistency, and balance make up the elements in this room. “Minimal furniture and ornamentation enhance the flow of the room, but it is just as important to ensure the details you do include are in harmony together.”
