Apple Store’s Hidden Easter Egg Brings Some Snowy Cheer To Festive Shopping

It’s the time of year where every way our heads turn, there is bound to be something festive just around the corner. After all, after a long year—and the last two have felt longer than ever—it’s a nice, small, tidbit to bring a bit of cheer to our days.
Apple introduced this Easter egg in 2017 on the Apple Store app for iOS, and this year it’s back to bring a little bit of wintery spirit to the holiday gift-shopping taking place on the app.

Spotted by Appleosophy, users can get this little treat by typing “let it snow” into the search bar of the Apple Store app. Little snowflakes will begin to fall, and, when the device is being shaken, will start to float much akin to a snowglobe.

They’ll remain as users navigate the different pages within the app, including Apple’s holiday gift guide and product recommendations, especially highlighting the new iPhone 13. Unfortunately, the snow won’t show up on the website version of the Apple Store.

More tech giant holiday cheer comes in the form of Apple’s recently-released annual Christmas advertisement , a heartwarming short film titled Saving Simon. It was shot entirely on an iPhone 13 Pro.
