Strange Trump Christmas Card With ‘Phallic’ Overtones Spreading Online Is Fake

If you’ve seen that strange Christmas card featuring Donald Trump with a rather interestingly-shaped tuxedo circulating social media, it may be a relief to know that it’s not real.
Appearing to be intentionally low-res, the card features a pixelated rendering of the former US President with an equally blurry background of a nativity scene. Joining him on the card are his family members, whose faces appear trapped in red and green baubles.
Finishing touches come in the form of an outline of the classic reindeer-and-Santa-sleigh silhouette dashing toward the sky, and the greeting text: “Merry Christmas from the Winter White House.”
Weirdly, while Trump’s image is hued in monochrome like the background of the card, his family members and their baubles are in full color.

Social media users have noted the, indeed, rather phallic shape Trump’s tuxedo has taken in this picture, with the probably intentional positioning of the reindeers and star to really top it all off.
The photograph of Trump featured on this purported card is, according to fact-checkers over at Reuters, most probably an edit of a photo he took during a visit to the Buckingham Palace in 2019.
His hands have been altered, as well as the shape of his clothing to take on a rounder form than the original—artistic liberty, one might endeavor to call it.

Contacted by the news outlet, his spokesperson, Liz Harrington, confirmed that the card and all its well wishes “is fake and did not come from us.” A different Christmas card is also available on Trump’s official online shop, Save America.
But who was originally behind this tongue-in-cheek festive greeting? It’s not known, at least for now. But there’s a high chance that it may remain a mystery forever.
