All-Terrain Camper Van Interior Is A Stunning Condo Unit On The Go

Often, taking the camper van out on a roadtrip means needing to sacrifice some degree of comfort. After all, it’s a small space, and things need to be suitable for operating on the road.
Not for Stone Offroad Design, though. The company’s latest creation is a camper by the name of Rise 4x4, a heavily-customized Mercedes-Benz Unimog U503. This vehicle, suitable for all terrains, can take on almost any conditions—and do so in style.

The German firm, SOD for short, has created a sleek haven for the vehicle’s interior. With the furniture choices and sophisticated monochromatic palette, it’s hard to believe that this is the inside of a camper van and not a small-yet-tasteful apartment on a chic urban street.

A main bedroom with enough space for a full-sized bed is included in the van, alongside a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator and a four-burner hob.

The lounge area sees an expansive sofa and dining table, but this room can be converted into the second bedroom if need be.
And the bathroom comes equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower, as well as plenty of space—a rarity for campers.

Amplifying the space even more is a plenitude of windows and generous skylight allow for ample lighting, not to mention the chandelier suspended just above the dining table for that added touch of luxury.

The design team at SOD was able to devote its time to creating this stunning interior thanks to the way the Unimog didn’t need much work done on its already-powerful base.
The 4x4 system comes with locking front and rear differentials, as well as a raised air intake system. This will allow drivers to glide through almost four feet of water or mud, per Robb Report.
Luxury, of course, does have its own league of price tag. According to the publication, acquiring the Rise 4x4 will set you back €899,900 (US$1,016,860). But then again, it’s not every day you come across a meticulously-decorated studio on wheels.
