‘Anti-5G’ Necklaces Meant To ‘Protect’ Users Revealed To Actually Be Radioactive

“Anti-5G” accessories that claimed to “protect” the wearer from mobile networks have been discovered by Dutch authorities to be radioactive.
The Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (ANVS) recently issued a warning that nine products, which included a sleep mask, pendant, and kids’ bracelet, were actually emitting “ionizing radiation.”
While it’s not believed that the radiation has caused anyone harm, the agency urged buyers to take off the items and store them away till further instructions were released on how to return or dispose of them safely.
“The level of radiation measured is low, and risk of health problems is low too. However, it cannot be completely ruled out that wearing these products continuously for an extended period may prove harmful to your health in the long term,” said the ANVS.
According to The Independent, the sale of such items are illegal under Dutch law and violates the Nuclear Energy Act. Sellers known to the authorities have been contacted to stop sales immediately and to inform their customers about the latest findings.
It’s important to note that there hasn’t been any scientific evidence providing that the networks are harmful to humans, with the World Health Organization even stating that 5G signals are safe, and that there aren’t any fundamental differences when compared to existing 3G and 4G networks.
Conspiracy theorists have drummed up paranoia around 5G networks in recent years, especially as the pandemic took the world by surprise. Some have even gone so far as to set fire to 5G towers, claiming that they were the cause of COVID-19.
