GM Pettily Trolls Tesla Cybertruck In Buttons Of New Hummer EV’s Software

Modern vehicles have come to be pretty self-aware, not just because of support for self-driving but also because they seem to have developed some unique personality traits. Tell a Tesla to “open butthole,” for instance, and its charge port doors would open up. Plus, it responds to the command “my balls are cold” by warming up the seats.
GM’s all-new GMC Hummer EV is also a cheeky one, it seems. Not long after the company announced the pickup truck, one eagle-eyed Tesla fan spotted a lighthearted diss at the Cybertruck while watching an early review video by Doug DeMuro.
Play the video above to see if you can spot this humorous and totally unnecessary Easter egg. There is a Cybertruck depicted among those icons, but it’s used as more of an accessory than an actual pickup—because why get a Tesla when you already have a Hummer EV?
The “ramp” used by the Hummer in one of the icons—oddly labeled as ‘Lights’ even though no lights are shown—looks to be the trunk of a Cybertruck.
