This Seemingly Normal Mouse Can Store An Entire 1TB’s Worth Of Games
The term “game library” isn’t one that’s often associated with your PC’s accessories and peripherals, but gaming firm XPG appears determined to change that with its new concept mouse, unveiled just in time for CES 2022.
The XPG VAULT is a wired USB-C offering that the company is calling “your gaming library, in the palm of your hand”—quite literally, at that. 1TB of Solid State memory can run at 985MB/s, alongside a Gaming Launcher software for easy use.
According to the company, this “promises to make your gaming libraries conveniently portable” while boasting a “higher level of game integration” with XPG’s ecosystem.
Apart from its storage capabilities, the mouse looks otherwise like a regular one. It’s still currently in the prototype stage, so not much else is known about it.
Besides this innovative new mouse, XPG is also showcasing some impressive new innovations at its CES booth. Some of these things include PCIe Gen5X SSDs, three notebooks, and components to build a “killer” gaming PC with.
