Luxurious Bathtub Auto-Fills Your Bath To The Desired Temperature & Depth

Those with a bathtub can attest that even though it may be tempting to opt for a daily soak, waiting for the tub to fill up completely can be a chore. To address this pain point, Kohler has introduced the PerfectFill system—allowing you to fill your bath with just a tap or voice command.

According to SlashGear, once the smart drain and bath filler is taught the volume of your tub, it will be able to fill it up to your desired depth and at a precise temperature. As the faucet fills the tub with water, the drain ensures it never overflows, and can even replace the cold water with more hot if you’re running late. 

Of course, with this smart setup, there’s no need to manually unplug the bath either. The tub can be drained with a tap on the smartphone app or via voice command. Kohler believes that by making drawing baths easier, its customers will be able to enjoy a greater sense of wellbeing. 

“Bathrooms have a very important role in wellbeing. And we say that because the bathroom has become one of the few places that people can go to really get away, to escape, to recharge,” Shane Allis, Product Marketing Manager at Kohler, told VentureBeat.

The PerfectFill will be available for purchase from May 2022, starting at US$2,700. Users will need to have a compatible digital valve, spout, and bathtub to use the system.
