University Of Michigan Is Teaching A Free 2-Week Course On UFOs

To most people, the concept of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs) is alien. So it is probably astonishing to many that the Pentagon has been looking seriously into the subject and has even set up a task force to investigate the objects.

Although UFOs aren’t something you’d typically learn about in school, the University of Michigan is hoping to change that. It has launched a free two-week course on how to identify compelling UFO reports and the importance of these sightings, as told by multidisciplinary experts. No prior experience or knowledge is required—just a keenness to learn about UFOs.

A huge part of the curriculum involves utilizing video analysis techniques to study various UFO reports and then finding possible explanations for the “phenomena.” You’ll discover the signs that are worth paying attention to and what makes a notable sighting, so the next time you record some footage, people might actually be assured of its authenticity.

“With a firm understanding of the history of UFOs, you’ll start to explore the position of UFOs within the larger conversation of science and culture,” says the university.
