Adobe Premiere Pro Automatically Fits Music Into Videos In Time-Saving Update

Adobe has released some new features in its latest updates to video editing software Premiere Pro, said to “dramatically accelerate” users’ editorial workflows with the power of Adobe Sensei, the firm’s own AI. 

Timing music when editing a video is now easier thanks to the new Remix feature, which automatically re-times the audio track to sync up with a video’s duration for those super satisfying transitions. 

This works through Adobe Sensei analyzing the song to create a new mix that perfectly fits the video’s length, even if it’s shorter or longer than the original.

Creating a new mix manually might’ve taken hours before, but AI means that this process can be completed within seconds. With the new Essential Sound panel, users can take advantage of the tool’s speed to experiment with different arrangements to find the perfect fit. 

Besides Remix, Adobe has also introduced improvements to Speech to Text, making transcriptions easier during the editing process. This conversion can be done offline via downloadable packs now, and the firm states that the process has become up to three times faster on M1 and Core i9 systems.
