LVHM, the parent company of Louis Vuitton and Dior, could soon see itself adding Ralph Lauren into its growing collection of luxury brands.
As reported by Axios, multiple sources are claiming the conglomerate has entered “exploratory discussions” with the American fashion house over a potential acquisition.
The deal could see Ralph Lauren cement itself as one of the most valuable fashion brands in the US, with its future secured under LVMH’s long-term stewardship.
In fact, the insiders said that Ralph Lauren himself—who still serves as the brand’s CCO and Chairperson—has been tinkering with his succession plans. He founded the business all the way back in 1967.
