Amazon has officially launched Amazon Aware, its new offering comprising of eco-conscious goods for the individual and home.

According to WWD, products sold under the label—ranging from everyday apparel to beauty products and household items—are carbon-neutral, and are certified as part of the Climate Pledge Friendly program.

The certifications, which are verified by independent third parties, ensure the products are made from sustainable materials such as organic cotton and recycled polyester, and topped off with recyclable packaging.

Furthermore, Amazon says these products are meant to be “long-lasting,” and despite being designed with innovative fabric and materials, will be affordably priced for the average consumer.

In a bid to be more inclusive, its apparel line features a wider range of sizes, going all the way from XXS to 7X. Shoppers can pick up anything from organic dresses to recycled denim slim-fit jeans and polyester sweatpants.

On offer in the personal care section are facial cleansers, moisturizers, as well as body soaps and lotions. Amazon has said all its formulations are vegan, dermatologist-tested, and come in glass jars or refillable bottles to reduce single-use plastic.

Additionally, you’ll be able to spruce up your home with eco-friendly household goods, not limited to bedding and home textiles.

You could snag 100% cotton covers, sheets, and towels, alongside paper goods such as napkins and toilet rolls made from 100% recyclable paper with no dyes, inks, or artificial fragrances.

“We are excited to introduce Amazon Aware, as it’s another step that continues in our commitment to test, learn and innovate, while offering low-priced, everyday essentials to our customers, all with third-party certifications featured in our Climate Pledge Friendly program,” he added.
