Jeep is connecting its calling for nature with a sense of responsibility for the environment through its first-ever fully-electric vehicle, as parent company Stellantis announced at its latest earnings call.

As shared in teaser renders, the unnamed EV bears several elements quintessential of the Jeep appeal, including a hulky body and the iconic grille.

“Electrification will amplify Jeep’s core attributes,” noted Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares at the presentation.

The SUV will be the first of an expansive range that Stellantis hopes to launch. All these go into solidifying the parent company’s vision to go carbon-neutral by 2038.

Stellantis anticipates to debut Jeep’s first EV in the first half of 2023, and will share more details in the coming months.
