As the saying goes about all work and no play, your little one deserves recreation after 10 minutes of exerting at their toy home office setup and rolling their kid-sized Dyson vacuum cleaner around.
But Mortal Kombat and Pokémon aren’t all that’s required—you’ll also need to have your child seated on an appropriately-sized chair. That’s right; there’s now a gaming chair for babies.
The teeny piece of furniture, manufactured by educational toy brand VTech, sports a futuristic rainbow strip and comfy armrests so baby doesn’t strain their wrists. Mirroring the ergonomics of full-sized gaming chairs, the VTech Level Up Gaming Chair includes two side cutouts on the backrest for supposed “airflow,” according to Engadget, who discovered the product.
For an optimal gaming experience, the chair arrives with a headset and a detachable light-up keyboard that teaches numbers and the alphabet. It also stands on feet, instead of wheels, so your toddler won’t copy the zooming motions seen on Mario Kart.
The chair is listed on Walmart for US$49.99 but isn’t on sale yet, so tiny gamers will have to cuss at nemeses from adult-sized chairs for now.
