Millennials and Gen-Zers may not agree on everything, but this is clear: no one likes making phone calls to schedule appointments.
Unfortunately, many important meetings in our lives still require us to pick up the phone, be it the annual doctor’s visit or an emergency dental appointment for an aching tooth.
Now, Google has announced a new way to book healthcare appointments that completely bypasses having to make the dreaded phone call. Users will be able to book a consultation just by using Google Search to check the availability of slots at select providers in their region.
At the moment, the technology giant is teaming up with MinuteClinic at CVS as its first health care provider to adopt the online booking service.
As per CNBC, all users have to do is simply search for the nearest outlet to their home, and the search results will display all the available appointments they can schedule.
“While we’re still in the early stages of rolling this feature out… we hope to expand features, functionality, and our network of partners so we can make it easier for people to get the care they need,” said the company.
