PANTONE Launches Skateboards Splashed In The Latest Colors Of The Years

Skateboarders can now saturate the streets in blurs of lavender, yellow, and gray via cool PANTONE swatches on wheels.
Expanding on an ongoing partnership, the color authority and boardsports heritage brand Globe have launched a deck set inspired by 2022’s Color of the Year, ‘Very Peri’, and 2011’s dual Colors of the Year, ‘Ultimate Gray’ and ‘Illuminating’. The skateboards directly follow a 10-part collection from 2020 that tracked 10 years of PANTONE’s Color of the Year tradition.

The kit features three 8.25-inch Canadian maple wood skateboard decks with a Resin-7 finish, with each design reflecting the relevant PANTONE swatch number, color story, and co-branding. The boards are laser-engraved and paint-dipped in the 2021 and 2022 Colors of the Years.
