Brands With The Best Workplace Cultures In 2022, According To Employees

A recent global study reveals that designers are choosing purpose over profit these days, so there’s now more emphasis on working in an environment that makes employees feel accepted and like they’re doing something right.
Corporate brand reputation platform Comparably brings some of these role models to the forefront with its 2022 Best Global Company Culture report, which looks at anonymous reviews from employees in 70,000 companies over the past 12 months to crown the firms that have kept morale high even through these confusing times.
The list comprises global brands with 500 or more people working for them. The review site, which is home to more than 15 million ratings, considered how the companies handled things like work-life balance, compensation, and opportunities for professional growth.
Leading the charge in the last year is Microsoft. “[CEO] Satya Nadella is really inspiring. He has a good vision and the global strategy is excellent. In these complicated times, it is reassuring to be in such a strong company with a strong leadership team,“ shares one employee. Google, which was second runner-up, was lauded by a worker for its “innovation, diversity, involvement in global projects, and work ethics.”

Creatives would be keen to know that Adobe has also made it into the ranking, taking the 12th spot. It’s been described by an employee as “an amazing package deal,” as it has “incredible co-workers, an inclusive and innovative culture, industry-leading products, and a robust corporate social responsibility mandate.“
